Grassroots activist for Healthy Schools in Texas. Working to promote healthy school initiatives since 2001.

This project was designed to provide environmental and asthma awareness education to elementary students attending NEISD schools where asthma prevalence rates are highest and education in environmental health is most needed.

The asthma and allergy project provides free services (English/Spanish). Services consists of home visits by asthma home educators. Some of our key discussions cover what cuases asthma, how to prevent asthma attacks, how asthma medications help, and condition in the home and outdoors that bring on an asthma attack.

Asthma Utilization Project; educational disease management. We provide tools and information, one on one teaching and health fairs.

The Breathing Association Asthma Outreach Program provides individualized care services and effective asthma management tools to prevent lung disease and improve lung health conditions in the community.

Charter Oak Community Health Center seeks to establish an asthma program at the Charter Oak Clinic.

The Childhood Asthma Initiative provides enhanced asthma care to homeless children living in shelters in NYC, including asthma education and training.

The Children’s RESPIRA Education Program provides bilingual medical and educational services to Latino families with asthmatic children in Essex, Union, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, and Middlesex Counties, New Jersey.

The Community Asthma Prevention Program is a comprehensive, self-sustaining, community-based asthma prevention program.

I am a volunteer for the ALA Healthy Air Campaign and Mothers and Other's For Clean Air. I share relevant and pertinent information about asthma via The Kellogg's Care Asthma Advocacy as an RN, AE-C.

The Ohio Department of Health Asthma Program (ODHAP) began in 1998 with funding from the Public Health Prevention Block Grant from CDC. The program is housed within the Office of Health Improvement and Wellness (OHIW) - Bureau of Maternal Child Health. The Ohio Department of Health’s Comprehensive Asthma Control Through Evidence-based Strategies and Public Health - Health Care Collaboration is a federal grant funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for a five-year cycle for the period of Aug. 1, 2014 to July 31, 2019. The San Diego Healthy Homes Collaborative provides services to San Diego residents at no cost to promote the creation of healthy homes, including in-home evaluations, remediation of environmental health concerns, training, education, and outreach.

SAFE Gardening is the only non-profit organization in the country, and the world, to use the science-based OPALS® allergy scale to create allergy/asthma-fighting landscapes in public spaces as early intervention for allergies and asthma; SAFE Gardening focuses entirely on improving human health and quality of living through better, science-based landscaping practices to intelligently prevent allergy and asthma triggers from being incorporated into the urban environment in the first place.

The TUFF Project was founded in 2013 after my son died with asthma at the young age of 18. We fight for those with asthma and help those to deal with asthma, its illness, treatments and care.
