Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Improvement Program in Tangipahoa Parish Schools to Prevent Asthma

The Inland Empire Asthma Coalition represents a group of enthusiastic individuals who work together to address the asthma needs of our community. Join us as we work on our goals and objectives to help alleviate asthma in the Inland Empire!

Inspirations is a comprehensive respiratory disease prevention and self-management program that uses environmental assessments, tobacco control intervention standards and psychosocial evaluation criteria.

InspireSavannah! is a new university-based program that incorporates asthma educators, in collaboration with local respiratory therapy hospital departments, to provide no cost asthma education to members of the "asthma community."

The Iowa Asthma Control Program (IACP) coordinates a statewide program to improve the quality of life of Iowans who have asthma.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Air Quality Bureau is a state air quality program that is interested in how air pollution impacts sensitive populations, such as those with asthma.

Our comprehensive allergy & asthma program provides allergy testing, immunotherapy, spirometry testing & bronchodilator treatments. Our program emphasizes education regarding these chronic medical conditions and coping strategies for our patients and their families. This year, to increase the awareness to asthma & allergies in our community, we will conduct two free public events on May 1 and May 22, 2010, providing screening spirometry testing, handouts, fliers, brochures & literature on asthma and allergies. The events will be broadcasted on the local radio stations and posted in the local newspaper.

Jefferson County Public Schools' indoor air quality program utilizes integrated pest management, environmental compliance, and other environmental interventions and controls to reduce children's exposure to environmental pollutants and triggers of asthma at school.

Provides integrated administrative co-ordination of care for children identified with asthma, helping to get them to services and care via the Philadelphia Allies Against Asthma Lnk Line.

The Jerome Alston Memorial Foundation is concerned about the health, welfare and educational development of youth. We provide scholarships to young men pursing education at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). We are also concerned about the asthma epidemic and are committed to bringing awareness to this cause.

Held each September for the first 50 who register. Free for children who have positive diagnosis of asthma by a physician or reactive airway disease. Children ages 7–14 who are suffering from asthma that is keeping them from doing activities they love.

The Kentucky Asthma Management Program (KAMP) within the Kentucky Department for Public Health leads asthma interventions across the Commonwealth.

The Kentucky Asthma Partnership is a statewide coalition working to reduce the burden of Asthma in Kentucky.

Kern County Asthma Coalition is building a coalition of community members in order to improve medical management of asthma, provide patient education, and promote uniform school asthma policy.

Kern County Department of Public Health reduces the burden of asthma through collaborative activities that are conceptualized, developed, implemented, and evaluated by community and county asthma stakeholders/leaders through a comprehensive and inclusive assessment of assets, needs, and priorities.
